14x17 in ~ Printmaking, Etching
I visited my husband one afternoon volunteering on an archeological site. People were either digging or sifting in plotted holes. Some were taking pictures as others documented everything with copious notes. I happened to spot a single large sunflower off in the distance across the open field. The head was large and heavy, bent low hanging down almost to the ground. I walked over to sketch for a while, but early the next day I returned with a zinc plate prepped and ready to draw.
