I love nudes. The figure unfolding like a Thomas Hart Benton painting. A topography of flesh undulating with rising mounds that slip down into valleys, folds, and hidden clefts. There is no such thing as an “ugly” body. No shame to witness except in the attitudes we bring toward it. The naked joy of innocence continues to laugh and dance there… even with coming age.
