I enjoy the unfinished areas of the drawing. The body arched, head cast back, eyes fixed above. T.S. Eliot wrote, "Except for the point, the still point, there would be no dance...". I imagine dancers, swept up within a calligraphy of movement engulfing an entire stage with sheer abandon, only to reach that fixed point where the whole of our attention is suddenly - arrested.
